Originally from the UK, Steven moved to New Zealand with his family in 2003 at the age of 9. He grew up with a fondness for IT, building and messing around with computers while at high school. He studied at CPIT (now Ara) and earned his computer technician certificate before starting his first foray into an IT career as a retail technician for Harvey Norman where he spent 7 years helping consumers with their IT needs, be it setups, advice, or help with faulty products.

Joining Computer Culture is his first steps in the world of Business IT, and he looks forward to building his knowledge further and helping clients achieve success.

When Steven is not at work, he will generally be found playing online games with his friends or spending time with his wife and two cats, Cisco and Atlas. He is also a fan of medieval history and enjoys a weekend game of Dungeons & Dragons.
