Steve was born in the UK and moved to NZ in 1999 when he was 7, but still holds on to his English and Welsh roots. Whilst in high school, Steve discovered his interest in IT, and 6 1/2 years in retail cemented his passion for dealing with people in all types of situations.

After finishing his IT degree in 2013, he got a job working in a TV studio for a change in scenery. Working in a casual media environment gave an interesting contrast to the corporate IT service desk job that he did next. The day to day challenges he experienced during that role have given him a good idea of the types of issues that can be faced by IT users, from the very basic to the more complicated.

In his spare time he likes to indulge in his love of watching and playing tennis, swimming, and playing the occasional video game or two. He enjoys going to the gym, loves dealing with people, has an uncanny ability to recognise faces and is a huge Star Wars fan. Steve also loves to travel and some of his favourite places he's been to recently are Europe, Canada, Cuba and the US.
