Systems Engineer

Andrew was born and raised in Christchurch and has been married to his wife Anita for 19 years. Their daughter Emily has just recently turned 15 and goes to Cashmere High School.

In his working life, Andrew has been in a variety of places. He worked 9 1/2 years at Dick Smith Electronics starting as a part timer before ending up as Assistant Manager. From there he moved to PC Rentals as the Branch Manager, this role was varied and involved anything from Sales to Tech work. Although it was a good challenge Andrew was eventually asked to work at an IT Service Provider. His role here as a systems engineer is where he learnt a lot of the skills he uses today to fix our customers issues. He moved on to a few more different IT Service Providers before coming to work with the excellent team at Computer Culture!

When he's not at work or spending time with his family, he enjoys messing around with his guitars and his Fender Hotrod Deluxe. When he's not trying to deafen himself he like's to do a spot of photography - street photography, landscapes and night photography are what he like's to shoot. In the last 6 months he's also had the luck to have a 3D printer on loan, which has been his driving force in learning.
